Hello All,

Helping a buddy with impeller replacements on his 2011 242S - based on internet searches we picked up the Solas YS-CD-13/22 and YS-CD-13/19

The problem is that we're seeing conflicting info on which one should go on the Port vs Starboard side. I'm under the impression that the 13/22 should go on the Port side but an impeller sales site is showing the opposite.

Can anyone please confirm which one is correct? I've searched and searched and can't locate a definitive answer.

You are correct (TTBOMK). The Port side will take the impeller with more aggressive trailing edge pitch (the second number after/ is higher - 22). Strbd (with 13/19 here) pump tends to load more efficiently and needs less aggressive pitch, or it will spin much slower than Port.
