The steering wheel has a good bit of play and would like to tighten it up. Most of the play seems to be from the bolt that connects to the steering nozzle. It has a nylon bushing in that that seems to be pretty worn. This is not the top and bottom but the one on the side that moves the nozzles side to side. I have searched all over for a part number but only seems to be available as part of the clevis assembly which is 60+ bucks. It seems silly to spend that for a 2 buck bushing x 2. Any idea where to get one.

My 242 is of the same vintage and am feeling what you are feeling as well. I may look into mine and see what I come up with . Honestly, there has to be some generic parts that could tighten this up a bit.

I will be sure to share what I come up with as well.
