2011 Yamaha 242 starboard engine idles fast (about 600 rpm hi) , port engine idles at normal rpm.

I was coming back to the dock and realized the boat wasn't going straight because of asymmetrical thrust. What is the cause and how do I fix it? Is it a cable lubrication issue? The throttles are very stiff. Thanks!

Check the throttle potentiometer mounted on the wall next to the motor. You can move it by hand and verify it is at the stop. That or you picked up a small air leak.
