I'm looking for the gelcoat color codes for my 2012 242 with a black hull and white top and white interior. I've tried my best to find this information before posting. I've searched this forum, googled, reached out to my dealer who has not heard back from Yamaha. Would like to purchase Spectrum repair materials but they say they need the color codes first because there are variances in blacks and whites. Any advice or information out there? Thanks!!

Just got this a couple weeks ago from Spectrum Color for some gel coat damage on the transom hull ( black ) of my 2019 Yamaha. Pretty sure yours would be the same paint code which is visible on the label. Good Luck !

Thank you! One would think this should work. What puzzles me is that folks at Spectrum said they need to know the specific black code because there are variances of black for Yamaha. (?)

Have you tried their tool? Enter make, then primary color. This will then narrow down the options and you can select the year of your boat.

My damage was so small and in an inconspicuous area of the boat that I ended up not using this product. I was able to fix with black silicone and it matched almost exactly even though I really didn't care ?? Just noticed you were in "Luville". I could get this one to you if it helps ?.

I believe that's what I need. Sure, I'll take it off your hands. I can send you my address and venmo you the cost of everything if that works for you. Thanks!!
