That price is crazy

Agreed..someone will buy it tomorrow. I would bet money on it.

Only if it’s a mostly cash deal. I can’t imagine a bank financing that much over book price. As it is, interest rate will not be attractive.

I just looked and it already shows Pending. This market is crazy. Im sure I slightly overpaid for my 2020 242S, but nothing like this AR210.

I paid 42k OTD last april. With discounts on cover, and i got coast guard stuff. Brand new.

Whoever is buying that is an absolute idiot....lol. if they can settle for a 19 foot I will let my go for 40k?????

They have a 2014 242 Limited listed for the same price. Been pending twice, but is back to being for sale at the moment.

Probably because someone agrees to buy and doesn't know anything about Yamaha boats, then researches and realizes that is the same price as a brand new one!!!

I dont doubt that, but how long until someone actaully gets a new one in stock without all the issues? Granted, there are thousands of new boats selling and we are only hearing about the ones from people who know about this site and have issues.

Does the 40k include your prep and doc fees?

Don’t want to leave money on the table.

Yeah that price is crazy on an 8 year old used boat - new AR210 is listed at $45,999. We were lucky enough to buy before the covid-gouging started. Got a dealer discount plus $2000 Yamaha instant rebate on the price, and dealer threw in the mooring cover I wanted. I think at that time the dealers were concerned that sales would tank since stores were in lockdown so I got a deal almost as good as boat show prices.

Price is high, but current market dictates. I wouldnt pay it. I bought from this dealer recently and got what I considered a good deal overall on a 2020 242S Demo with 60 hours. Never titled (until me). They stated they cant legally price gouge but go mostly off of KBB.

I bought my 2021 SX210 from them in January for list price. But, their lot is pretty well depleted, and all their ordered boats are spoken for, so...supply and demand, I suppose. I know they cannot keep boats in stock there at all right now.

@oramac you go to the store and it is empty, and they say it has been crazy busy. People buying everything they got, us orders for 2021, now orders for 2022. They had to piece together a coastguard kit for me and I am still waiting on a few items. Not their fault at all, but I agree it is all about supply and demand. It is worth what someones willing to pay.

I heard new car prices are up 8% this year vs 2% in the past years. I guess the issue I heard was computer chips for the cars are in short supply so car production is down.

You name a part, and it is in short supply for one reason or another..

No, thanks. That's an extra 3999, plus the premium mooring cover and coats guard kit is an additional 1199. (That's at cost for being a good customer)

No longer pending sale. I wonder what happened. They probably got laughed out of the bank.

Somebody bought that, I would bet.
