2014-15 off season (winter) Mod plans

The stock speakers are good but I'm getting the JL tower speakers and I want everything to match. So JL all around it is.

Yeah plan on getting a bag for the ski locker(yes I know kind of redundent) and then a smaller bag to either put on the back seat or swim deck if I don't have people on the boat. From what I can tell if you put too much forward you extend the pocket but not really build up the wake. So ski locker is about as far forward as I am willing to go. Thinking a 800lbs bag in there, and a 350 to move where I want it, Plus stock ballast of 750. Hopefully that should do the trick!

@Master-Spud here is what we did to @bobbie 212x with an amazing result. We did the same to both sides with the same result as well. Took the 800 out of the locker and put it on the seat. No locker weight at all and a ton of rear weight. Done!!!! With the wedge of course.

Hmmmm... I'm sure it worked well, but I just can't get used to having that many bags on the seats Lol... But guess I can play around with it next year. Thanks for the suggestion!

My mod list as long as the wife allows it: Add 2 rev 10's to the tower....change out the old 6.5 for new mm651's on the tower, perfect pass, hydro teak gray ( already bought ) 2 new mm series polk 12" DVC subs, new cover, upgrade the wake board rack forks to allow my shred stixx surf board to fit in, shore spike. Might work on getting my bigger bags under the seat for this upcoming season. That is up in the air though

I get you there.....my point I was trying to make, which I was not clear on, is maybe work on stuffing bigger bags where the factory bags are and not put anything on the seats. I think that is what @bobbie is going to do. I know for a fact that a 1000 pound long bag will fit under the seat. It takes up all the room but it will fit. Just do the surf side also if your family only surfs one side. A bag on the non surf side just counter acts what is being accomplished.

Install SeaDek I got from group buy. Install Cobra Jet Ultimate's I just ordered. Upgrade stereo HU (Fusion?). Fix some scratches in gel coat and polish boat. Maybe a new trailer jack and of course the usual oil change and tune up. Oh, almost forgot, install the Bimini extension I bought a couple months ago. Not a perfect fit, so need to modify it.

Honestly I've been stumped about what to add next. I've already done almost everything I've wanted! I'm contemplating a wet bar installation. Other than that I'm thinking about a wet slip next year and a boat lift. $$$$$$$

My winter mod might cost me $60 K . The wife loved the new 2015's. When she mentioned she just made the last payment on the current boat and our local dealer was having a demo day, You know your in trouble.

-Adding another set of Exile XM9 HLCD's.
-Adding another amp to push them
-Selling my two 10's and going with a ported single 12 (have plenty of bass, but want to pick up the lower end a little better)
-swapping the polk db651's for JL MX650's and adding a pair to the cabin (already purchased)
-underwater LED's
-attempting some sound deadening
-possibly powder coating the tower if there is any left in the wallet.

Maybe an automated ballast system in the spring time. Still trying to decide if I want to go with reversible pumps or double pumps, need to research again over winter.
