As the post says, today my wife decided to wake board” she hasn’t been on a board in over 12 years” and it was officially my first time pulling her, she popped right up first time no issues. One thing we noticed was the rope seemed a little short,” as in close to the boat” i think it is 42 feet, not sure I would have to measure it. Just looking to see what length other Yamaha guys are running.
On a side note it was rough today and I can’t wait for the economy to get to normal so I can get ride steady and Trim tabs and cobra jet stealing... that boat wish list is getting long and pricey lol. Thanks all for the input.57398703-0494-4D32-9692-C5A36064E5DD.jpeg

I think 65+/- is typical. 42 is definitely way short. Try riding at different lengths and pick the one that puts you in the meat of the wave, a few feet in front of where the curl is breaking.
