Just bought a 2014 AR240. Has the stock clarion head unit and swim deck unit but a wet sounds amp, tower speakers, an in-box sub and equalizer to dial it in. I keep getting a crazy ground noise sound from the tower speakers. Not super loud just enough to bother me. I plan on re-doing everything but mainly wanted a new head unit. The thing is I'd like to keep the clarion swim deck remote. Do I have to buy another clarion unit to keep the swim deck or say a Kenwwod, Pioneer etc would work with it? Really wanting a nice head unit that works with the remote then will go from there looking at the tower and amp setup.

I guess would i really should ask is whats the most powerful head unit i could buy and use the clarion swim deck? Would really like a head unit that puts out a decent enough RMS watts around 50 or so on each channel so i do not have to buy another amp for the 4 speakers in the boat which i plan to change out to wet sounds 6.5in
