2014 scarab 215 Sony radio replacement

my 2014 scarab has the stock Sony radio with the removable display. When I took the boat out of storage to go on the first ride of the season the radio display buttons wouldn’t work but the controller at the helm and the controller on the transom still work. Wondering if this is a common problem and looking for a replacement that has the same wiring connections. Since the stock radio is discontinued.

I have a stock radio and remotes if your interested. There is nothing wrong with it. Just changed it out because I had another marine head unit.

@Rtimleck not looking for a stock radio because I’ve herd the radios are prone to water damage. What radio did you replace your stock one with and is it the same wiring or do I need to rewire the connector?

I replaced it with a Clarion M303. I still wanted a CD player. The wiring is pretty straight forward. I cut the existing plug off and soldered the new plug to the existing boat connections.
