Finally got around to doing a write up about my 2016 AR 240 Led build. I haven't tested them out on the water at night at this time but will try to so in the next few weekends. Overall I'm very satisfied with the install. The only concern I have is how bright the underwater lights will be. Only time will tell. I'm still in the process of troubleshooting my Rev 410 Leds that I installed. I cannot get them to work at this time so I do not have any photos of that right now.

I have all my lights set up in 3 zones each controlled by a Bluetooth controller. Each zone has the ability to color change or play to the sound of music. The zones are cabin, speakers, and rear storage/underwater lights. I'm still planning on installing some strips inside the helm and some by my sub woofers. I also will be doing some speaker led rings on the back 2 cabin speakers.

I went with the company Ledconceptslighting due to the fact that I have great experience with this company in the past and they have great customer support and all their products are life time guarantee. I have these installed on my headlights of my truck as halos and on the grille of my truck. They are reliable and fairly bright. I will post photos of those two.

Once I test these in the water, I will attach more photos and do a write up about the affects and features on the setup.

The first set of lights were taken during the day to give folks idea of how bright they are. My favorite part of it all is probably the stern locker setup. It gives a nice little glow affect when it's night time.

I just now need to hurry up and get my tower speaker LEDS working and I should be all set.

Looks great! Quite the setup. I would like to do the same with my new to us boat....next year maybe.

Cool man. Looks good

Thank you all

Great job @FloJet this on the short list I actually started mapping it out the other day and you put them exactly where I'm intending to. My question is how satisfied are you with the rear cockpit set up like that do you feel it need light under the rear bench seats? I scoped them out for about 20 min and I do think I have a plan to put lights there just wasn't sure if it was worth the hassle.

Looks great! Do you have any install pics and list of items you used? I have the same boat and eant to add under water and cabin LEDs. Nice placement...pics of wiring and were you mounted those in the rear lockers too would be awesome!

Thank you all very much. Love doing this project and still have ways to go to fully finish the setup like how I want it. No worries at all @MicahH. I will get pics of those. Basically for the cabin in the bow, I installed rock lights from led concepts above the cup holders. I also installed them on the bow under neath the small front cushions. Only concern for that was the hot spots from the rock lights. I didn't want to use led strips as I wanted something for the longer run. Strips can come loose, these are screwed in and should stay intact for a long time. The main cabin area has them by captain cup holders and Port side cup holders. I will also have the rings for my back speakers hopefully completed this week.

For the transom, I mounted the rock lights in the small compartment underneath the back storage areas. Same rock lights used for the underwater leds. I used Four of those for underwater. I have attached a photo of where I placed the underwater leds @robert843. I'm very satisfied with these lights really Rob. Having the ability to have full control of them either dimming, flashing, playing to the music gives me many options depending on the mood all from my phone. The back cushions, everyone loved it yesterday because at night it gives the platform a different look. With the same ability to change them also gives me options while anchored out at night.

My rear bench behind the captain seat has two 8" venting holes for my sub-woofers and the lighting effect behind that seems pretty cool and I will use strips there tho eventually. I have more pics to come. I also have 4 extra rock lights that I have not decided to mount yet. 2 of them are being utilized in my amp room right now behind the helm, but I think I might go led strips behind the helm. Nice feature when that door is opened up.

Also If we can get enough members to want to make an order for these LEDs, I might be able to work out a nice little discount plan for everyone. I've already informed the company about all this and they want me to send pics they can use on their site as they have not done many boats with the rock lights at this time. But def want to test and report all findings to everyone that is not too biased so people can make their own decisions.

One of my biggest concern is I want trim tabs later down the road and I don't know if my outside under water led will be in the way for that?

Do you have a picture of it in the water? He level of your led look parallel to the jets and that makes me think they are just skimming the top water.

I will not have any pics of it in the water until this coming weekend. Yes they are installed on the water line to give it more light out put. Plus when on the move, they will be fully submerged.

Finally got the tower speakers LEDs completed. Can't wait to try them in the water at night.

Finally got to see the whole setup at night. I was very pleased with most of it all. My favorite part is probably the tower speakers. They really shine at night. The biggest disappointment is probably the underwater LEDs. But our water here this time of the year is very dark and muggy so I guess only time will tell.

The lights under the water on the back of the boat. Are you removing the engine compartment walls to reach that deep? I remember removing my engine compartment walls several years back when I mounted speakers on the swim deck and it was a huge pain to get them out and back there.. also doesn't help I'm 6"6 285 pounds

With the new Yamaha's there is plenty of room behind the engines. Just have to be-careful when drilling tho. The under water light holes, I had my fiberglass guy down here drill and seal them for me. Then I just ran and wired the lights from there. When it comes to drilling under the water line, I rather leave those to the experts for my peace of mind.
