I'm on my second season using the bimini pretty much every time I go out and the fabric has not stretched much if at all. There is no way I can begin to think of using the second notch for the pole lol. The tower is made by XTP and they made nice towers and tops but you would think you should be able to adjust the top a little if even to just the second notch.

Mine kicks up in the rear but with the boat at surf attitude it didn't seem to be an issue over the top. It's interesting to see the different shapes of the tops on different models. I thought this was a cool pic from a meetup we had last year but it shows the shape of the tops.

Maybe by pulling the main pole down they mean hang a 200+ lb man off it and then get someone else to press in the adjusters? It says we should be using the shortest position but there's no way I can think of doing it without killing the fabric or something.

A little report back from this weekend. Spent two days on the lake and tubed/wakeskated quite a bit.

Tubing......Using the rear hook is the best for "fun", however the tower keeps the rope out of the water and makes the little ones happier. Rope went UNDER the bimini top for the duration.

WakeSkate (similar to a wake board, but no bindings, and slightly smaller).....Rope was ~60' long and went UNDER the bimini each time. Had some slight tension on the rear of the bimini when coming out of the water on initial "get up", but once on the board it rarely touched the top, unless I was being really aggressive with jumping. Even then I don't get much air so it isn't a big deal. I'm also 6'2" tall, so I might carry the rope a shade higher than others.
