2016 Scarab 165 G cupholders

Good morning all. Was wondering if anyone has a solution to drain water from the cupholders on my boat. I know i can drill holes in them but im not sure what or where that water would drain into and if it will make its way back to a drain point in the hull. Also two of the cupholders are located above the engine. Any help would be appreciated.
