Does anyone know the color codes for the replacement bimini top? I need a new one and each year have 2 different part numbers, I'm assuming the color, but the price is $150-200 difference. I'm just looking for black.

I don’t know if this helps or not. Better late than never? I extended my Bimini top and my upholstery guy ordered fabric from here.

Thanks. my front bimini bar was loose and some how bent straight up causing the bimini to rip up, so I have to order the frame and fabric but the order sites dont give a color just a part number, so I dint know what color I would be ordering. I can find anyone open yet to build one so I was trying to just order the whole thing on line

Can you give details on extending your top? I’m looking at doing the same thing.

Yes. Hard to type long description from mobile. I’ll answer in detail later

Sorry about that! We were actually installing the new Seadek flooring in the cockpit area.

I took the bimini top down completely & threaded the existing bars out of the fabric. I took the bimini fabric to a local marine upholstery shop that I have used before and had them add exactly 18" of the black fabric that I posted the link to above. There is a seam right in front of the nav light post/wake board tower hitch that he took the stitching out, and added the piece to. Looks really good.

The aluminum bars are 3/4" outside diameter. I purchased two of these off of Zoro.

I drilled out the aluminum rivets on the bars that slide into the tower slots. I unbolted them from the front spreader bar up front before I did anything. I ended up drilling them out slightly larger than a 1/4-20 bolt would be.

I took a conduit bender that I borrowed from and electrician buddy of mine to bend the new stainless tubing with the same down angle. I laid them on top of each other & bent little by little so that I could match the shape. I marked the end of the aluminum tubing on the new stainless tubing & added 18" which is where I ended up cutting them off.

I purchase 3/4" insert black end caps off of Amazon to go inside the new stainless tubing to keep wasps out and give it more of a finished look.
I ended up attaching the new stainless bars to the front spreader bar with 1/4-20 x 1" long stainless bolts & nylon keeper nuts. I am very happy with the finished product. We will have the boat out either tomorrow or Monday and I will take some pictures when I have the bimini all out and unfolded.
Hope this helps. Holler if it doesn't!!

Very helpful. Thanks. Sounds like a pretty simple solution. Are you happy with how much additional shade you’re getting or would you go longer if you could?

I wouldn’t go longer. At WOT it holds itself, but makes me nervous. We have been out very little past couple of days. Very windy. It is a good amount of additional shade. The next thing I wanna do is figure out more shade off the back.
