Looking to purchase a newer model Yamaha. We currently own a 2007 Ar210 and have loved it but ready to get a new one. would prefer a Ar but worried about the tower problems on the newer models so looking at the Sx models. I like the space on the newer hull designs and think some of the recent updates would be great.

Who’s seen a good deal out there?

Funny you say this, because I'm currently doing the same. I'm wanting to upgrade to a newer boat, and possible bigger. I'm taking my time though and just looking. Don't want to rush. Hope to find a good deal.

IMO the issue with the 2015+ AR towers is with their crummy bolt/lock. That can be fixed, somewhat, and the AR240 probably is their best "bargain" in the whole lineup. I wouldn't get into an SX solely because of that.
Just my 0.02, since you are looking for opinions.

The AR tower was part of the reason I didn't get one. Also I can get an aftermarket tower and install it for less than the price of the difference to an AR.

Congrats! Makes me wonder if I should start to sell mine now, so I can upgrade. Instead of waiting.

Thanks. There was a lot of interest so it may be a good time to test the waters. Though I don’t want you out there competing with me on the next boat. Lol
