All,

My bilge pump stopped working...when you hit the button to turn it on it goes green for a second, and then flashes red. The pump doesn't work as well.

My assumption is I need to replace the pump? Correct me if I am wrong.

I am rookie at this stuff, and haven't been able to find much online about replacing it. I don't get my boat back until sunday, so trying to plan a head in terms of fixing it.

Is it pretty easy to do? Would love any tips or tricks or videos if anyone has any.

If you get the OEM one, it should be plug and play, just trace the wiring. Check any of the online partresllers for the schematics/part number.

But before you go there, have you tried removing yours and checking the screen/impeller to see if its clogged?

Also might want to look at a high water alarm and/or a secondary pump for redundancy purposes and piece of mind.

I found the OEM one on partzilla...should be here in a couple days. I did have them check, nothing looks clogged. So we will see if replacing it fixes the issue.

Agreed on a secondary pump.

several threads on installing a secondary pump. I put mine in the very stern under the clean out port cover. It’s wired directly to the battery so will work even if the battery switches are off.

so I replaced the pump today...but its still not working..when I press the button it flashes red off and on...and the pump won't turn on...I filled it up so it had water to pump out...but nothing. I checked the fuses and they were all fine....any thoughts??

I’d start by connecting directly to a battery to see if it works. Is it exactly the same as the old one?
