2017 Yamaha VXR huge oil leak

Need some ideas on how to find a oil leak in a 1.8 engine. On shore running on hose, I can'T find where the oil is leaking. If I take it out on the water it will lose all 4 quarts in less than 5 minutes. I first thought it was the oil filter but its not coming from there. I think it must be somewhere below that. Any thought on how to put a load on the engine on the trailer to actually see where the leak is?
