You can surf but with a rope...You could go ropeless with some mods. Taking it in today to trade for a new Malibu...pretty much over the jet thingDo you wakesurf? If so, how does this do?
What is the top speed, and are the nozzles still set-up for surfpoint or have they been realigned?
Any mods or extras?
Thx
As you know it’s so much less hassle to dealer trade but you take a bath...they showed $50,000 on mine but there was adjustments on the new boat plus a bunch of stuff thrown in...I wouldn’t have taken less than $55,000 privately.Ok. i am trying to gauge the market to buy a used 212x This winter. i was just trying to gain pricing knowledge.
Another quick question. I am trying to decide whether to go with a jet boat or not. Sounds like you were not satisfied. Why not? What were the issues from your perspective? Thx. Dave
Thx. Folks on this board seem to say the thrust vector or cobra jet fins knock the wake down enough for tubing etc. I am skeptical. Did you have either on your 212? Thx again for discussing this...I have a shallow dock where we live on our lake. Trying to decide what is best given the shallow draft.
I have the Cobra Jet Steering and 4 different types of tubes with standard length rope, kids have never complained about spray. I tried the TVW it was so dangerous the steering was so stiff I couldn't steer, so went back to Cobra Jet. Good Luck on finding a 212x, no regrets on the fastest boat in the lineup..Thx. I would start a new thread yourself on the “General Discussion” section to ask your question.Hi, I just got a 2018 212X, and I am trying to figure out how to pre-program ballast and speed for wake surfing? I saw videos and read that we can do that on the 212x, but I really don't know how to do it.
any help would be greatly appreciated!
