Alright everyone I need some input. As some of you may know I bought my AR190 back almost two years ago now and I have been renting it out to get it paid for after this season the boat will be paid for and at this summers current pace, I should end with 5-10k extra money. Now as we all know once you buy the 19foot boat before the end of your first season you want a bigger boat. I have been eyeballing the Ar240 as my next boat.
So ever since I found this site I have been wanting to make a bimini run. With the extra cash from rentals I will have 5k I could throw to the trip.
so my question/debate in my head.
Should I take he AR190 over or wait untill I get the 240 and take it?
May thoughts for the 190 are that it’s been a rental boat so it will have 3-350 hours on it by end of this summer and it already has its nicks and scratches from being a rental boat. negatives for resell. So why not add the bimini trip pounding plus the “salt water depreciation” since I live in north Texas, people avoid those
After the trip maybe I keep it and rent a season or two longer and pay cash for my 24 foot boat.
or
should I put the trip off another year or two to get the 240 paid for and then take the trip in the bigger boat.
what would you do?
