2019 Yamaha 242X Jet Pump wear ring help??

My boat has replaceable wear rings similar to Seadoo but still are stainless. I took the pumps off and it’s looking impossible to take these rings out. I’m has anyone done it yet or have a link to a manual I can purchase? The pump was changed for 2018-newer boats. Also interested in a different impeller for higher top end speed if possible. Thanks for the help in advance.
