2020 AR190-3rd Party transducer?

Good morning:

Just came up on a year waiting for a transducer replacement for depth/speed. It was bad from the start. Is there a 3rd party option? - at this point I have no faith Yamaha is going to come through. I just want everything on my boat to work!

Do you still have it installed or has the dealer replaced it with a plug? If it's installed, can you see the manufacturer name/part number ? If memory serves me right, it can be ordered from the OEM instead of Yamaha..... there was a thread about 2 years ago about it. The connector would have to be spliced though, as I'm 95% sure Yamaha uses something different than OEM.

Would the transducer from the 195 be a different but compatible part no?

It's not just boats..... motorcycles tires are hard to find in certain sizes, and prices are up 50% from 3 years ago....

It is still in- thanks, I will look. Yeah, I know parts are hard, but new boats are showping occasionally too…
