Now, just remember that on the left side of the breakdown shown, there will also be the sleeve we discussed. That isn't shown in this breakdown. The inner race and outer race will likely be installed in the hub from the factory, so you shouldn't have to deal with them. The Axle nut may or may not have this type of retainment system. Some have a cage, some have a tang you bend over, but most have a cotter pin like shown in this pic. Your dust cap will likely be different, normally called a bearing buddy. Pay attention to the orientation of the bearings as shown. Conical sides facing each other, or facing the "inner" portion of the hub. Make sure everything is greased up really good with marine grease. Tighten the large axle nut pretty good, maybe 20 ft lbs or so, then LOOSEN THE NUT, and then FINGER tighten the nut. At that point, there should be no play in the bearings, nor should there be any preload on them either. Grease the bearing buddys until you see the indicator spring begin to compress, and you're done.

I also like how this diagram labeled the lug nut as the outer race. LOL

I went back thru the pics of my rebuild and have a couple that might help. First is of the spindles where you can see the wear sleeve installed over the spindle.

Second is the hub with the bearings already packed and the grease seal installed.
