No it won't fit a 2020, the hulls changed in 2019 and this seems to be for older models. I believe this is the one you want: MAR-190TR-BK-19Anyone know if this cover will fit a 2020 Yamaha 195S? I'm not sure I need a mooring cover since I plan to store the boat in our garage with the factory cover on it. Is this a bad idea?
Thank you very helpful. The dealer will provide the factory cover but was looking for something that could be used for trailering. No it won't fit a 2020, the hulls changed in 2019 and this seems to be for older models. I believe this is the one you want: MAR-190TR-BK-19
By factory cover, you mean the white shipping cover? It'll work to keep dust off the boat while in a garage, but you can't use it to trailer as you must trailer with the tower in the raised position, not folded down as the cables are not meant to hold the tower safely when bouncing down the road. The proper mooring cover is designed for trailering and with the tower raised. It's made by Outer Armour for Yamaha.
This actually should fit. Nothing has changed from 19 to 20. The 195s tower is a little different but they didn’t update the cover for it. It just rides a inch or two higher because of the tower being different.Anyone know if this cover will fit a 2020 Yamaha 195S? That's it. My cover is 2019 AR195 for my 2020 195S. Fits great imo. Super tight as it should be.This actually should fit. Nothing has changed from 19 to 20. You can use the shipping cover to trailer and many on here do. You just need the tower shipping brackets that secure the tower in the down position. The dealer should have provided those with the shipping cover. That's how the boat is shipped from factory.
I agree, my ramp is only 3 miles from house so no cover for me and the boat lives in the garage at home. Any long trips I have the option of both covers. I use the shipping cover on the boat in the winter in the garage and so far the only time I have used the the mooring cover was when I brought the boat home from the dealer.Pain in the butt to fold tower and attach brackets every time you trailer in my opinion. I always trailer to destinations, but with no cover. Taking mooring cover off at ramp, and then back on at ramp would be a pain imo let alone having to fold tower as well.
I did not know that. Never had a boat with a tower. Thank youYou can use the shipping cover to trailer and many on here do. I agree for the 5 minute drive to my local ramp. But we trailer all over the place, and I like being able to protect the boat from road debris, bugs, rain, etc. when we're trailering 1-2 hours away.Pain in the butt to fold tower and attach brackets every time you trailer in my opinion. Our normal trailering to our favorite spot is about an hour. However, we won't go out in any weather other then gorgeous. I may start trailering with mooring cover though. That's not hard at all to install alone. Super simple with two peopleI agree for the 5 minute drive to my local ramp. I wouldn't bother with the mooring cover especially if you're storing the boat in the garage. The shipping covers, while not as nice to look at as the mooring covers, offers nice protection and has a weather resistant outer layer. Mine held up for 3 seasons with lots of towing. Spend the money on better boat mods IMHO.Anyone know if this cover will fit a 2020 Yamaha 195S?
