Had her out on the water last weekend, and I noticed the steering was really stiff when turning to the starboard side. It did not want to turn all the way, until I forced it. After I did, it didn't want to go straight again. Seems like there is something sticking, maybe a cable? I looked behind the steering wheel at the steering assembly and could hear the gears when I turned the wheel. It sounds like some teeth are missing or something. I don't see a way to lube the system. Any ideas?
I have searched this topic, but all I come up with is a problem with corrosion from salt water causing the cables to bind, but I only have 16 hours on the boat and only in fresh water. Thanks all for the help.
