I was backing up my 2022 252 SE. Started hearing a rapid click click click in the helm. Turned off engines. Restarted the engines which fired up as normal. Put throttles in forward but the engines did not rev up. Stayed in idle. I pushed the no wake + and the engines did reve up but didn’t move. Seems the nozzle gates didn’t go up either. Shut down completely main power switches off. Started up again. Problem NOT solved.
Any thoughts?

Maybe something stuck in your gates? There’s a process to manually move the gates but you have to get into the helm under the control box, it’s in the owners manual how to manually move the buckets after you disengage the system. I assume you checked your impellers via cleanout plugs to see if something was jammed in them?

Thanks very much for the info! The port gate was stuck somehow and I was able free it. I went in under the helm and put both in manual mode, but the port wouldn’t work.

Thanks very much for the info! I went under the helm and put the throttles in manual mode. The port gate still wouldn’t move. I finally went to the actual gate and put a little pressure more than I was before and it freed. The only problem left now though is that it still thinks it’s in forward. The starboard engine now revs OK but the port engine won’t do anything except idle. Perhaps there’s a fuse or something that got blown. I’ll continue my exploration and let you know what I find. Hopefully, I don’t have to take it into the dealer.
