Hello all,

Online all the info I see about the new 2024 AR190 models is that they come with a 1.9L engine.

My question is are there 2024 models still with the 1.8L engine? I bought mine in 2024 but it does not seem to have the 1.9L engine.
If anyone could clarify for me that would be much appreciated.

Where did you purchase ? California? And are you sure your MY is 2024 would be my questions.

This would have been my guess. As the 1.9 didn't meet emissions or CARB rating in CA before they wanted to distribute was what I heard. And they shipped them with the 1.8lt engine. That may have happened in more states as well.

I see that makes sense. I couldn’t find info on Yamaha website to confirm or deny haha

I think you can verify the model year with the hull number, the last 2 digits should be 24. Since many boats don't come with engines, HINs don't tell you the engine like a car VIN does.
