Tried to start by boat today for the first time this year. Put the two batteries back in the boat (kept them charged all winter). Turned the keys on and nothing...

Then realized that I forgot to turn the battery switches on and tried again. Still no life when I turned the keys to the on position. I then tried to start the engines (not expecting much) and they both fired up. But still no accessories (blower, tachs, Connext, etc).

I then turned the emergency parallel switch on but no luck.

I then tested the voltage in the deep cycle battery and it was fine.

Pretty sure I connected the variés cables correctly because I took a picture last fall and used that as a guide.

Anybody have any suggestions? I’m hoping/guessing its something dumb that I’ve missed. I attach both pictures (last fall and today). Many thanks.

Your main accessory fuse may have blown. It's usually on the bulkhead wall near the battery switch in the older boats. Not sure about yours.

I think you might've missed one of the ground leads on your house battery, but its hard to tell for sure.

Thx guys.

Throttles definitely in neutral.

Pretty sure I connected the ground leads on the house battery but I’ll double check when I go see it later today.

You do have a ground loop connecting both batteries correct?

I do. But, ran down to my cottage and had another look and I saw cable that was not connected. Different have time to figure out where it goes (I think it was the starting battery negative) but I’m guessing/hoping that’s the problem...
