So I went to hook up my anchor and line, and it wasn't there. I searched the boat and no anchor. I called my dealer and he said it's an option...No anchor...are you F**kidding me?

Any help or recommendations for an anchor would be great!

Thanks!

Most boats do not come with an anchor as standard equipment. But, that said - most dealers do include a Coast Guard Kit which includes an anchor, a few bumbers, a few docklines and some life jackets, etc.
Your dealer should've at least provided the anchor.

I didn't get an anchor or coast guard kit. Odd to me too, but I guess most negotiate a "make me legal" kit in their purchase. My first boat, so I didn't know to.

I was the same way. I made them throw in the "make me legal" kit. Then I purchased the Yamaha official anchor and rode kit. I like the silicone covered option. A few more bucks but well worth it.

Since you just got the boat I would talk them into giving it to you at employee cost!! ;)
