A friend's wife was the 1st surfer behind our new 212X this past weekend. I don't have a surfboard, so she used my Zup Board. I need to work on getting the rope length right for surfing. How far back should the rope be to get a surfer up?

Surf ropes are typically about 25'. There are a bunch of different types out there. Optimal length will vary depending on your wave.

I have a new drone for similar purposes, but damn, I'm new to the drone world and just see it landing everywhere but on something dry.
I got this one because it fit my 'good but not off the charts expensive' motto. Kind of like my AR240 vs., say a X26 Mastercraft.

While not knowing the exact model.... I know it was over $2000!!! He's a photographer and uses it for work. It didn't like the windy conditions on Day 2 and wouldn't land on the sun pad of the 212x. He tried to grab it from hovering above him.... While holding the controls... I wouldn't advise grabbing it with only one hand. He was very worried his $2k drone was gonna end up in the bay so he took necessary measures and ended up with a pretty decent cut on his forearm
