Aluminum Polish

Anyone have a suggestion on the type of polish I should use on my Aerial Wake Tower. It is the polished aluminum model and after working on it, it is in need of polishing.

edit: I just read that neverdull may remove the anodized coating

I have never used it on the boat. Neverdull on wheels does a great job on wheels. It is in cotton so no spills .

Thanks. I will ask the manufacturer when I get home and can access their website. I was hoping someone with some experience would chime in.

what you need to find out is if it is just polished aluminum, or if it has a clear coat or anodized as mentioned. If it is just polished aluminum, you can do what we do on Snowmobile tunnels.

We wet sand with 800/1000/1200 even 1500. Wipe it down fully, then hit it with Mother's Mag and Aluminum polish. You will never see a better mirror. But it's work. You can just do the Mother's and be done, and it will remove some oxidation. But the wet sanding is what gets it to a mirror.

Good luck, be ready for very sore arms, as done right is a workout.

PS: If coated, you do not have these options as folks with plain aluminum. My guess is it's coated some way.
