So, where does everyone have their amps mounted on their FSH?
 
Impressive thread.
All of the mounting I've seen has been in the console, on top or in front of the gas tank. The panels surrounding the tank make a really nice mounting platform, and there's plenty of space for a longer than normal mounting screw. I wired my amp back to the house battery (along with the new wires to the back gunwale speakers) through the gas tank hold, and into the engine room.
 
Haha, thanks... I gave up on this thread honestly, appreciate the input though.

I ended up mounting it on top of the panel that cover the gas tank, was looking for possible other places because I was worried it might get wet there or the screws might get too close to/puncture the gas tank. Turns out there is plenty of room there.
