Out today and one pisser (Starboard engine) was not shooting. No issues with overheating but above 30 mph, about 5K rpm, water was shooting out from around the bearing area in the engine compartment. Not anywhere near the y fitting. Did not have the leak below 30 mph. Got the stoppage cleared from the pisser after we got home, but where could the leak be coming from in the engine compartment and why only at high speed?

I would suspect that the blockage caused excessive pressure in that line and either caused a slit in the line somewhere or worked off a band clamp.

I would do some high speed runs now that the blockage is fixed and see if you still have the issue. If so, run the pisser line...

Is there some kind of blow-off valve past the y fittings off the back of the engine?

Not one that I know about...
