Anyone going to Lake Havasu for 2017 "Desert Storm"?

Desert Storm is in Lake Havasu from May 4th-May 7th (Thursday-Sunday). It's the first official trip with the new boat!! We've taken it out for a test run in December, but it's been in storage since then. We are going to be in Havasu on Thursday and Friday, then we'll head to Laughlin and get the boat out on Lake Mohave Saturday and Sunday. I hope I'm not the only jet boat out there!

I guess I'll be the only one representing jetboaters.net!:(...I'll post some pics! For any West Coast guys, it really is an awesome weekend, and a great way to start the boating season![flag]

Looking forward to the pics!

Wanted to go this year, but we were on a cruise to mexico with our family.

It was great out there for The Poker Run. 104 -107 degrees and calm wind, but The Shootout was canceled because of the wind. It was some crazy water this weekend!

How was the water temp, still pretty cold on the lake?

Pretty cold, but not unbearable. A lot of people in the water at The Sand Bar and The Channel. We also took the boat out to Lake Mohave. The ranger station listed the water at 70 degrees, so it's definitely warming up.

Good to hear, the river is always ice cold even during the hot summer months, I like when the water hits about 78 degrees and it's 100+ degrees outside in Havasu = a great day on/in the water. Keep in touch next time you head to Havasu, we go there often during the summer.
