Greetings all, I just saw on the FB group that a member is having screen delamination issues on their 2024 (!) model boat.

Typically, this is indicative of a design failure and it will be very common for all owners to experience once the life span is reached and the boat is out of warranty.

I checked the part number F7F-U0870-01-00 and found that it is over $3000 currently, so once these boats are out of warranty it will get very expensive for customers to replace this display every couple years.

As a result, I want to offer a low cost repair solutions to boat owners. Would anyone be able to kindly take a photo of the back of the display unit so I can start working on a replacement screen that will resist the vibration and UV that boat screens experience?

BTW, my company is mtcscreens.com

Welcome to the forum. :)

There would be good market for this and for someone that could offer repair of the Connext screen electronics. My boat has a 12.3" Connext screen and the thought of having to buy a new one is worrisome. I did get lucky (sorta) that when I bought my current boat two summers ago the touch screen function on my Connext stopped working and a new one was ordered under my YES warranty. It took 15 months for the new screen to come in and it will be installed the first week of May when she comes out of storage.

Here is the back of our 2024 252SD screen.
