Greetings all, my name is Charles and I am the president of mtcscreens.com

I specialize in providing repair services on older or out of production display screens for marine and RV use. You can check my catalog for the currently available boat repairs- typically murphy/enovation or Medallion touch screens that are delaminated.

What's the deal?

Over time, certain components inside these display units goes obsolete and as a result, the price goes up dramatically.

My business offers to replace only the failed component, which is usually just the LCD and or digitizer, sometimes backlight. Our screens are a superior construction marine-safe design. This way we can reuse the rest of the display to fix the issue permanently, while reusing the expensive internal parts that are totally fine and do not need replacement.

I have recently been made aware that the 7" Yamaha Connext system has touch issues- and I would love to help the community out here by offering a low cost solution, rather than the very expensive dealer replacement option.

Does anyone have an extra unit they are willing to donate for development? I will send a shipping label to send it in, and can offer $100 payment via paypal in exchange. The only requirements are that it powers on and the touch works somewhat.

In addition, the promo code for users of this forum will be of your choice, therefore memorializing your contribution to the community :)

I plan on doing 10% off for all members of this forum for the repair.

Post here, shoot me a message, or call if you are able to assist.

Thanks for reading!

Charles I replied in another post, but I am actively looking to replace my screen, if I can find an affordable replacement soon I will gladly donate my old one. I believe it needs a screen and digitizer as the screen looks burnt and is hard to read and the touch function does not work at all. So I don’t know how useful it would be.

I see from your website there is a 239 area code if you are in Fort Myers let me know because that is where I am we can meet up
