I have a question about steering difficulties on the AR250’s. We had the boat out this weekend and I noticed it was much harder to steer to the right than the left While under heavy throttle. I have installed the Cobra Jet steering so I’m curious if that could be the culprit. I had it at the dealer and worked with the tech to check the steering cable and the cables seemed to be correct. I also took the fins back off and double checked that the novels are even. Is this something inherent with these boats, or could I have installed something wrong?
Also to clarify I had a passenger upfront on the port side and another passenger in the port cockpit seat. Could the weight distribution cause an issue?

I have no issues with steering on my AR. I dont have any aftermarket fins though, so I would start there. I can literally steer with one finger between the spokes while at no wake speeds and while it gets a little stiffer under heavy throttle, nothing I would call difficult.

Love it, its my first Jetboat, not my first boat though. Family totally digs it, especially the kids.

I'm driving myself nuts wondering if I will get mine in time for the season. Heck I even follow the Vonore Yamaha Manufacturing facebook site to glean what I can about what's going on at the factory. This is torture!

I can only imagine the feeling on having to wait so much. I was on the fence last year about waiting for a boat show to see if there were any specials or just putting a deposit. I'm glad I chose to put a deposit when I did, if not im pretty sure I would be waiting as well.
