Ar190.... not a surf boat

Well..... as many of you have probably already found, the Yamaha AR190 is not a surf boat. But this is what it is good at...
Single family fun.
Great on gas
With 3k of upgrades it can be surfed ropless at lower altitudes (1500 ft elevation OK for a 200lb guy, 3500ft elvation ok for sub 150lb kids)
Really fun Wake foil boat
Great beginner wake board boat if you don't want to blow your knees out.
The turbo charger would be nice to dial in the surf wave at higher altitudes.
Not a great tubing boat, mine has overheated on me twice tubing.
Cheapest "semi" surfable wave on the market??
Can't seat 12 people, but It is nice not having to wait two hours for a turn behind the boat.

Hey I recognize that view! I think I was up on 4 peaks while you were down on the water if that’s late Feb. Not snow on them very often.

Wakeboard video doesn’t seem to work on here or YouTube.

Good fun. Got the 650lb fat sac for Christmas and had to try it out. December 29th. Yes that is snow on Four Peaks.

@Tlcaffall What upgrades are you running?

We love our AR190. It's been an excellent boat for us, and it's' exactly what you've said. Significantly inexpensive to own and operate, and a really good value for getting a family on the water. Absolutely won't compete with a dedicated wake boat, but you can buy 2-3 AR's for the price of a used dedicated boat!

1. Ride steady cruise control
2. 650lb fat sac
3. Lucky 13 cone kit for the jet pump
4. Ribbon delete
5. Seal jet pump
6. Home made wake shaper (often can't get to surf speed with this on)

Only thing I'm missing is the fatsac and wake shaper......and the boards, rack, and rope.
