How many adults can sit comfortably on a AR190. And with a full load can it still have the power to tow a skier or tuber?

I took one for a test drive yesterday and felt like it was a turd with 3 adults. I'm sure it can fit 8 but you won't be zig zagging without slowing down to like 20mph. I was shocked at how much of a pooch that boat was when you start maneuvering. I test drove a scarab 195 first and when I got to the yami I thought there was a problem with it. Even the 195 struggles to maintain speed and that supercharger added quite a bit of noise into the mix. I scratched the 190 off the list of possible options and honestly didn't even "love" the AR195. You should go test drive a couple of boats as the experience was mind blowing. I was dead set on a 190 and was completely disappointed with its performance.

4 adults and 4 kids is manageable. Keep in mind at low speeds when bigger people sit in the front when going slow the bow really goes down and impacts the way the boat steers at no wake speeds. When tubing and skiing with a 190 with 4 adults and 4 kids I wanted more but it still got the job done. A couple things to consider is if you can go bigger it may be a wise idea if your constantly going to have a full crew. Unless you start looking at 20’ inboards I think you are going to have the same issues. Not to disagree with DogDad but I would like to know what other 19’ offers the same space and power as the 195. I think if this is not adequate than a 19’ may not be the right size boat. I think the 195 is an amazing package, but everyone has their own opinion. Am I biased yes, however I have had a 190 and 195, there is a night and day difference. If my garage was bigger I would of opted for a 21’.

I test drove a Scarab 215G with 300HP and that was pretty much felt like the perfect boat. Very agile and plenty of grunt, but after researching them it seems they have a fair share of mechanical issues and I don't want to take that risk.

I like the AR210 but it too feels under-powered to me. I will likely be buying an AR195 simply because it meets my 80/20 rule. I still wish it had more power. In a fantasy world a twin engine 19' boat would probably my pick.

Before they redesigned the 21’s I was hoping they would make a 20’ with twin engines.
