I'm having an issue with starting.

Last week: It cranks, starts, and shuts down immediately. I tried like 10 times before it would start and continue to run.
This week: I have to move to key back and forth in the ignition switch until it cranks.

Battery cables are fine. It feels like there is something weird with the ignition switch. Is there a common issue with the AR192 with the ignition switches? It lists $58 for the switch. The parts diagram doesn't show anything about the key. Do I have to swap my internals to the new switch?

Also, I found these mystery brackets in the boat when I bought it. They're taped together. What are they for?

I don't know what to think about the starting problem, but the starter switch does sound like it could be the culprit. The mystery brackets are to hold the tower in collapsed position. I never use mine when just dropping the tower for a little while, but put them on for winder storage because my garage height isn't high enough to completely raise it. It should show in the manual which way they are supposed to go. Mine never fit that well, but did the job.

Those brackets had me stumped for a long time and I stumbled on the part number the other day. Thanks for confirming.
