Just FYI - 2015 was a major redesign for 240/242 boats, same 1.8 N/A engines but a different hull ("keeled") and electronics (Connext system). So - it would be MY 2010-2014, or 2015+; 2018 had new Connext added.

I have a space blue 2015 AR240. 158 easy cruising hours. No stereo upgrades but all the smaller stuff like keelguard, stolz roller, cobrajet fins, new trailer fenders, etc. etc. Not entirely interested in selling but would for $46k. It’s been an absolutely great boat. I’m in Pittsburgh so that’s a long haul.

No, I was just commenting on the MY differences. responded to the PM, too - sorry for any confusion!

Yamaha boat models are still relatively easy to make sense of, as compared to their skis... I can not make sense of Yamaha jet ski model names to save my life...

We most likely will be putting ours up for sale in a month. Taking one last family vacation on it. Family is wanting to try a camper. It is a 2013 242 LS with a custom wrap, MB quart Marine amp powering all inboat speakers and a 360 watt powered Fusion 10 inch tube subwoofer. Deluxe mooring cover and shipping cover. 140 hours at the moment. Probably ask 42k to 44k?

Ok LOL the MY was throwing me off. I just drove and compared the two model differences and I am definitely leaning towards the 15+ due to the feel in size and articulating heal. Thanks for the help!
