Hi all! I need to adjust the height of the Bimini, however the thread of 'L-Shaped Stay' (as it's named in the attached image from the manual) is not compatible with the thread of the Locking knob. The bolt on the locking knob is an M10 with only 1.27cm protrusion, while the internal thread on the L-Shaped Stay is M8 and the thread doesn't begin until approximately 1.905cm up, so it doesn't reach. Does anyone know of a solution for this? perhaps an adapter, coupler, or changing out of the threaded locking knob to one with an M8 bolt? I'm leaning in that direction, but am unsure of how to remove the locking knob.
