Average Insurance cost

Just wondering what everyone is averaging on boat insurance? Mine is coming up for renewal and thought I would check. I pay $870 through Foremost. I ran a quote on USAA and it was right at $1,000. This is with a $500 deductible.

Older boat, but I pay less than $350 for full coverage with Allstate. My home and cars are with Allstate as well so there are some discounts.

USAA is not writing boats in Florida anymore. When I switched boats they put me with Progressive through USAA

$435 annually through State Farm where I also have the rest of my insurance policies.

I was with USAA/Progressive until going on the Bimini trip, they don't cover the trip, at the time I had to leave I was paying $385 a year. Moved to Allstate to cover the Bimini trip, the only insurance I have with Allstate and pay $425 per year.

USAA/Progressive just raised mine to $582.00 I was paying $532.00. I guess I need to shop around!

Wave Runner ($231) and Boat ($765) a year for me with Progressive. I think the boat is so high because:

COMP $0 DED TOTAL LOSS REPLACE/PURCHASE PRICE $45,000 = $491.00

I guess I may need to call and tweak it a little. I did get a quote from Boat US and it was more expensive (slightly) for identical coverage.

Interesting note... I called USAA and they transferred me to Progressive. After a short conversation, the nice lady that answered the phone actually told me to call her back at another number. When I called she immediately answered "Progressive" and said that I just saved 10% by calling her on the phone that didn't say "USAA" on it.

I think I am around $385. My policy is an add-on to my homeowners so the liability and such are covered there.

Usaa doesn't cover any recreational items any more. I have everything else through them, my camper is through USAA but covered by Progressive, so naturally I went straight to them for the boat, they quoted me $1100 a year, i told them that was ridiculous, they got it down to $850:-/
So I called Geico, $400 a year with better coverage and lower deductible than what Progressive was going to give me.
