Back with another Yamaha

Good morning,
Well I've jumped back into the Yamaha family, with my third jet boat , a new 252SD and am thrilled to be back on the water reliably. I started out my boating career with a 210 , the moved to the 232 and now in the 25 foot boat. Briefly flirted with a Regal Surf Boat which I got all of 6 hours on (not by choice) which would repeatedly leave me and the family stranded on the lake due to all the issues with the Volvo software systems on it.

Eagle eyed readers will notice this is a 2022 from the color scheme - I bought it new last February and the lake has now just gotten up enough to get it into the slip after a year of drought - had a great first ride last night that reminded me why I love these boats. Looking forward to being back on here - I'm at Lake Cypress Springs if any fellow JB'ers are on the lake.

So I have a very controversial question, Was the Regal quieter than the double engines in the 252SD? Or just a different pitch?

I would say the volume is a little louder on the Yamaha , especially at WOT but definitely a different pitch - the Regal had more of a low growl than the higher pitched whine of the Yamaha engines.
