The perfect material would be a sumo surfing bag, but it needs to be spherical, not with weird shapes.

more or less yes. I think the interior sphere alone will work better. I need something that it is big enough where the bow can hit without going over it, but not too big where it will not badge.

that excatly was the original plan. However, given the competive nature of Jetboater, I worry we might be getting fiberglass damage, so for 2018 we will just stick with "kicking" the ball. hiting a ball with tip of the ball is more chalalnging that it sounds, so I excpet some captain to through their worst ever humiliation . LOL

Can’t wait to see the video. I’m skeptical that you’ll actually get any lift after impact to make the ball move more than a couple feet.
