Best ballast pump?

Needed and cool are 2 different things. What would the flow meters do? Cam.

They would feed data to the microcontroller. The micro controller could then take predetermined action and display the data on a smartphone or wired display. So lets say rider A likes both rear ballast full and the center at half. Select rider A and let the controller do it for you. Auto shut off when full/empty. Etc. Non volitile memory would store the levels so not impacted by turning off the batteries. Could even enter/display the values in lbs to make things easier when compensating for passengers.

Calibration would be needed once and a while due to environmental variables. Just more options beyond other sensors/switches. A cool factor would be filling the ballast from the house before walking down to the dock.

I find that we dont shift water around too much once the sacks are full. If i did it again i would put pump intake on the bottom so you could fill while underway. This should get moved to the ballast section. Cam

filling while underway is nice, we usually fill while going through no wake zones then finish up while getting ropes out and setting our speed on the zero off etc.

I have to stop and idle. Usually we are getting ready but filling underway is better. Cam.
