Bilge Pump will not shut off.

Hello all.
I came home from work today and the bilge pump was running even though the power on the boat is off.
It did rain heavily this morning however there is no water in the hull now.
It seems like the auto on/off switch is stuck. I can disconnect the bilge at the connection point and it shuts off.
Any good ideas to remedy the situation?

Maybe pull the actual pump from bilge, maybe something is stuck in it, normally they just spin off or a clip on each side
