Anyone know how to get this bilge pump to stop pumping? It automatically sucked up rain water till the bilge was empty and never turned off.C435CC4C-DABE-4D10-9FB3-0D1CABB22CCF.png

Unplug it? Or pull the fuse to it?

Yes. Had the same problem. The water sensor is in the rectangular portion at the opposite end of the intake side. The trick is to ensure that it's at a steeper angle whereby the sensor is higher up. What I did was clamp a metal clamp around the part with the writing and had the thicker portion of the clamp underneath the pump. This angled it such that the sensor is higher up and the intake is lower. Now it actually stops.

Yeah, my logic was that I'd rather have a bit more water in there then kill the battery by having it run all the time. Plus, you can always simply turn on the bilge manually once you're there to empty the last bit. Also, this will bring the intake lower, thus allow you to pump more out (although manually at that point).
