Bimini top & wakeboarding?

We have the 215 Impulse HO. Just got it today, just wondering if you can use the Bimini top while wakeboarding? If so would the rope go on top or through the opening?

We wakeboard all of the time with the bimini in use and have the rope attached on top, not through the opening. We use a thermal coated slim non-stretching wakeboard rope and it doesn't touch the bimini once you get tension on the rope.
