does anyone else have a hek of a time with their Bimini? For some reason my Bimini will not work like t should. My front poles end up on top of the Bimini. Almost like they flip at some point but they are riveted in. I don't understand it. They worked the first time u had the bot out and haven't since. It's like I need to unbolt the poles flip them back under and re install.

Sounds like you have it upside down. I did that once. Do you leave it attached all the time or remove it in between uses?

I have always left it on. I am not real sure what is going on. For some reason my from poles end up on top of the top. I'm really confused on this one. I'm taking it in for the 10 hour service and I'm going to talk to them about it. I have no idea how it could have happened.

I had to remove the front screws on the poles and place them under the canvas. It looks like the dealer didn't install it correctly.

I've taken down the whole thing as well (to clean it). It all comes apart with a 7/16 wrench and socket. Pretty easy take down and install. Takes some time and much easier if you can elicit a second pair of hands to help. IMHO

My poles tend to get flipped and it confuses me when setting up
Off subject but do find the tan Bimini top not matching the black boat completely?
Think black would look better?

Yeah those front poles aren't the easiest. You have to keep the "cow horn" pointed aft and insert them first when raising the bimini....otherwise the whole thing just goes crazy.

As for the tan I think they were just trying to pull in the color of the graphics. At least it doesn't attract and absorb heat/light like a black one would. Especially with us in the deep south.
