Bimini trip 6/29-7/6 2025

Still doable. Just going to take longer.

The rain and lightning for 5 days straight is my bigger concern
if it’s that bad I’ll probably wait it out. My wife has been looking at the weather when we’re supposed to head back but I’ll deal with it when the time comes. Not gunna stress over it while I’m here.

It looks like it willbe north of bimini but may be within hitting distance of fort lauderdale for the lightning.

Just got back stateside from our trip (non-boating), how'd you do?

Great time!! Got back home Sunday at 10:30pm & back to work first thing Monday. Cleaned up the boat last night and getting ready to mow the yard and get back to the normal routine. I’ll post more about the trip and pics as I get time.

Going to Bimini wasn’t too bad but could e been better. 2ft at 3sec so we took a little of a beating but happy I had trim tabs on this trip. We visited and snorkeled the usual sites, plane wreck, Sapona, honeymoon harbor and the beach off the NE side of the north island. Watched fireworks from or balcony that were being set off by the pool at Bimini Cove. We got a picture of the kids similar to when we were there in 2021. Fished offshore, down the South Island canals, and about everywhere we went. We were on the boat every day but did rent a cart on the north island for a few hours to check things out and enjoy a fresh made pizza at Edith’s Pizza. We also ate at Big Game Club a couple times. Crossing back to the US wasn’t bad at all. 1.5ft at 3.5sec for about the first half and then is spaced out to 6sec and smoothed out nice. Made it there in just over 2hrs from Harbor town and made it back just a little quicker.
