I stumbled across this show called boat buyer on the Travel Channel tonight. They go around with a family and they show them three boats in the episode and then at the end they buy one. The episode I watched was "loving Lake Lewisville". They were at the Phil dill dealer. They showed them a cuddy cabin, Yamaha 21 foot jet boat and then the 19 foot Yamaha fish. They settled on 212X. I wonder if the family knows about the forum? It was nice to see the wife change her mind about how spacious it was.

Yeah I bumped into it last night also. This family ended up with a 21 Key West CC.

I ended up staying up to late and catching that on too. Here in a couple of weeks I was reading that they are filming a family at lake of the Ozarks. Its about time they did a show for boaters. I know everyone's not crazy for jet boats like I am, but its cool to look at other boats.

Watched another episode today (Michigan).... had to keep fast forwarding because the couple looking at boats were so annoying " weeee, yeah, amazing, weeee"....uuughhh enough already...

Haha, I watched that episode the other day with my wife and we thought the same thing. I don't think they could of found a more annoying sounding couple

Ditto, I set a timer to record the episodes because I can't figure out how to get them online.

I'll keep an eye out for them as the beach they were filming at is my summer hangout spot.

I'll give that a try. I was trying to watch them on my PC at home, but I can give the tablet a try.

Edit: It worked, and wow that MI couple was indeed annoying!

That's an ls2000 in the background... going to find this show right now!

** Edit
watched 2 episodes and the format/talk tracks are very annoying as others have pointed out. I watched the lewisville episode and 2 of the 3 boats were Yamahas; 21' and a FSH 19. They called the 21 the "Jet boat" and they never mention that the FSH is also a jet. They call it a sport hybrid. The show was for a family looking for a go fast, water sport boat. My wife turns to me and says "they don't ever mention that it doesn't have propellers. Isn't that one of the advantages for a family???".
